Larkin's Carnival is the location where Dylan and Maximus first meet each other. It is the traveling gypsy band run by Maximus's father, Larkin. In a Medieval society where magic is present but not the norm, traveling bands are local places where entertainment and distraction can be found. The set piece was made mainly from the worker's perspective, making preparations for the next event.
